RP Sample -
The weak whispy breeze soared smoothly throughout the crisp morning air, gently blowing against the toms sleek, freshly groomed fur. Sleep tugged desperately at his body; begging him to rest himself for a while longer. Somnolently, Autumn's eyes grew wider, the bright rays of the sunrise at first searing them until he became used to them. Reluctantly, he stretched his paws forwards and heaved himself up to all four of his appendages, energy slowly beginning to course throughout his body. Swiveling his ears, he heard the satisfying sound of his clan, some of them already awake and beginning their duties. Taking a paw step forwards, his pads landed upon the soft sandy ground outside of his small packed den. Setting his gaze on his clan-mates, he admired their work, making it a point to watch the kits curiously wander outside of their den, their mothers cautiously watching them. Autumn was particularly and extensively proud of his clan. Gaze falling upon his deputy, he hastily motioned him over with his tail. When he got over to him, he began to speak just a bit above a whisper. "Did you have our problem taken care of? The one that had to do with that curious tom cat. Don't tell me you forgot about it" He meowed to the deputy, vague hints of eagerness touched to his voice.  "No, I didn't forget. I had it taken care of late last moon rise, you have absolutely nothing to worry about." His deputy had replied quickly, turning his head and fixing his gaze on his patrol that was left waiting for him in the center of the camp. Nodding slowly, he perked his ears forwards and twitched his whiskers. "Get back to your patrol. Don't forget to report something back to me if you find it. I know that has been a problem with you before." Autumn whispered, shooting him a serious glare. His deputy nodded hastily and returned back to his patrol, then exiting the camp. Autumn coughed at the dust that was kicked up by the group of cats running out of the camp. He was very thankful to have such a strong and loyal clan, he felt as if there were no better he would be able to ask for. He shook out his orange fur, getting back to his paws and making his way over to the clan's fresh-kill pile. As he arrived there, he was satisfied seeing that there seemed to be plenty of prey, picking out a coarse furred grey mouse as his meal. Its tiny black lifeless eyes took into his, its limp body dangling in his jaws as he carried it back to his den to eat. Scanning the clearing with bright amber eyes, he failed to spot any of his close-friends nearby, so he sat down and began biting into the mouse. Just as he swallowed his first bite, his deputy and patrol came racing back into the camp, the other cats scattering away, and the deputy arriving less than a mouse-length away from Autumn. Perking his ears forwards, the deputy began to speak, nervousness shaking his voice. "Fresh scent of dogs were found over the border, almost half way into our territory. We couldn't decipher if they were still in the territory or if they moved on. Everyone is pretty stressed out, we need to send out twice the amount of patrols as we have been to make sure our clan if safe from these treacherous creatures." Autumn's head felt as if it were spinning with how quickly the information was spit to him. "Calm down, Pine. You are right about needing to send more patrols out. I will have you send out one more patrol before dusk, and then the dusk patrol, as always. We will have someone sit out at the camps entrance who will inform us if the dogs are gaining on our home. Understand? Everything should be alright." Pine stuttered for a minute, before catching his breath and shakily replying. "Yes, I understand. I'll go try to figure out who I'm going to put on the patrol and inform them." Autumn dismissed his deputy Pine with a single nod of his head, dropping his gaze back on his fresh-kill, he realized that he completely lost his appetite.

(This character didn't have much of a description, so that's why I made the sample so vague. I could do MUCH better with detail, etc. I do believe I am good for this role.)
